Student-Led STEM & Community Impact
Local Launch teaches high school students practical website and app development skills, then helps them apply those skills to real local needs.
Our mission is to help students build core technical skills while supporting small businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations that need stronger digital visibility.
Through a structured curriculum, students learn the fundamentals of web and app creation — including design, development, user interface customization, and project planning.
We believe technology should be useful, accessible, and service-driven. By combining STEM education, entrepreneurship, and community service, Local Launch gives students early exposure to real-world development while helping local businesses grow their digital presence.
Structured curriculum covering design, development, and project planning.
Students learn to identify needs, set goals, and deliver real solutions.
Every project supports a local business, nonprofit, or organization.
Students master web and app development through hands-on lessons in design, coding, UI customization, and project planning.
Students connect with local businesses and organizations, understand their challenges, and define project goals together.
Websites, apps, and digital tools are built to solve real problems — not hypothetical exercises.
Students present their work, reflect on outcomes, and see how their skills directly help their community grow.
Through our Local Launch Competition, students work individually or in small teams to set project goals, develop solutions, present their work, and measure their impact.
Gain real-world development experience and build a portfolio of community projects.
Get a stronger digital presence from motivated students who care about your mission.
